My 1987 Thunderbird 3.8 V6 December 31, 2007, 09:45:52 AM Hello!I took some pics of my T-bird after short ride last Saturday afternoon. It was a nice sunny day, just a little cold :) I drive it often, but trying to avoid "salty snow" as much as it's possible. If it happens from time to time I'm washing it immediately before I drive into the garage.I have two sets of factory Thunderbird 14'' rims, all painted glossy black. In these pics it has winter set of Mastercraft Glacier Grip (205/70R14) which are a little small comparing to stock 215/70 but they are great for ice or snow. I think that rims is only customized part in my otherwise stock Hope you'll enjoy the pics... :)Happy New Year 2008 Everyone! Quote Selected

My 1987 Thunderbird 3.8 V6 Reply #3 – December 31, 2007, 10:10:46 AM Nice! And though I've never been a fan of white walls they actually look really good on those black steel wheels. That car is just like my 87. It's even got the same pin stripe. Quote Selected
My 1987 Thunderbird 3.8 V6 Reply #4 – December 31, 2007, 10:11:05 AM Just a few more pics. One of them shows the most custom part of my T-bird - a Trick Flow tranny pan :) Bellhousing is wet from engine oil becouse of leaking oil pan gasket (about 1/2 quart between oil changes). Maybe I'll finally take care of it in 2008.Interesting thing about this car is that it was ordered in USA, but never registered there. It was shipped immiediately from Atlanta by US Army airplane to Hamburg, Germany. That's why it doesn't suffer from salty residues from ocean liner shipping. Quote Selected
