Hey that looks pretty sweet. What kinda steering wheel is that? Looks familar... but I can't put my finger on it.

Nice to see some progress.

I imagine I'll be wandering down a similar path with the '83 eventually myself.

its a cheap APC wheel i grabbed off ebay; hence no center button :hick:
i wanted a non-cruise TC wheel, but that didnt work out; twice. so i fell back to old thoughts of a D-shaped wheel, and decided to go for it. im sure its a knock-off of a grant or momo or sumthin.....

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Hey Gumby, lookin' cool!! I've seen the car in person too, but I didn't get to sit in it and make vroom vroom noises. Maybe next time. Until then, keep up the good work!!

sender installed



i also snagged a couple pics of my relocated battery/starter relay. need to build a tie down for the battery to finish it all up.

That will be nice to get it running again only thing i don't like the 1 gauge by it self looks lost should of cut up around the shifter pastic panel other than that i can't see a single thing that looks bad or out of place.

why would i want to look at the shifter to see my gauges?



i made the lower gauge panel larger than my current needs demand so i would not hafta go back and make another panel later. the extra space will be used for any other instrumentation and control switches i may need later on.

Judging by his paint, I'd venture he doesn't need to worry about where gauges are at...

the seats are recaros from an 87 saleen. grey on grey cloth w/red piping.
