5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

I've got Flowtech Afterburners, which I believe you're also running.

You really need to get the Cougar on the street and drive it. I forgot how fun mine is to drive since it's been in the garage since the last week of October. The streets were clear last night (no salt or water, I wouldn't have had it out if there was any) and since it was cold (about 36*) the car had problems getting traction above 1/2 throttle. I could fish tail down the street, which was kinda fun. I think you'll really like the engine you have once you start driving it. It will only be more fun once you add a blower. When you do get a blower I strongly recommend a Kenne Bell. Instant boost and instant torque at low rpms would make your Cougar really fun ;).

Jerry I'm sure you mentioned it somewhere in this epic tale of epicness but I don't think I will be able to search it out... What paint did you use? Factory black or another?

It's not factory... I believe it's a Chrysler black. Straight urethane, no clearcoat
I never liked Ford black. even my Ranger looks boring... It just doesn't pop
