5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

WOO-HOO !!!!!!!!!! What are you planning today with the Cougar?It's supposed be nearly 70 here.If so,I'm painting the trim on the Bird.

Sorry, no fun with the Cougar today, Had to work.
Next I'll just be putting another coat of paint on, and mabe the tank supports. Then I'll be working my way down to the front.

In all the excitement and confusion, I forgot that it was the one year mark for my project.
A lot has changed since I began one year ago ,and it looks like the hard part is finally done.

Old Grey Cat to this.88 Cat, 5.0 HO, CW mounts, mass air, CI custom cam, afr165's, Tmoss worked cobra intake, BBK shorty's,off road h pipe, magnaflow ex. T-5,spec stage 2 clutch, 8.8 373 TC trac loc, che ajustables with bullits on the rear. 11" brakes up front. +

 come to think of it I started mine on Dec. 6, 2007 the day after I raced my car and ran a 12 flat. I think I did pretty well considering the car was in the same primer for 7 years lol

well on my drivers side it goes alot farther than just the rockers. The inner structure needs reparing as well. same with the passenger side. And im still on the hunt with no luck. And tax time just around the corner when i will have the cash to get everything to make my cougar beautiful again. And remember how you thought i had a possible bent crankshaft to be breaking ballencers... Well that checked out to be within tollarence issued by ford.
