not as long as I have everything else to finish it. still no fuel lines in the engine bay. and the computer needs to be repinned for mass air, headers still need to be finished. I got a ton of work before I can turn the key still. but putting it in will make all that happen a lot easier. have to find my coolant stuff too, redo trans lines etc.....

Jerry, I'm relatively new to this forum and recently stumbled on this project thread.

Just so you know, I have been COMPLETELY unproductive the last 3 days at work because I have read your ENTIRE catalog of this project.  It IS like a novel and I couldn't put it down!  I love it.  And the last chapter hasn't even been written yet!

I am amazed at your skill and determination to complete this project.  Your cougar looks fantastic.  But your labor of love for this car is nothing short of inspiring!

Just two quick things...
- A helpful thing when installing the engine and trans together is to jack up the back of the car (on jackstands of course), so that the angle of entry for the assembly is not so severe.  I can't wait to see that beautiful engine in the beautiful engine bay (and car).
- On your rear hard brakes lines running along your axles to the caliper soft lines...  You might need to bend them down right next to the fitting in the bracket to clear the axle snubbers.  From the factory, those lines did a tight "S" to avoid contact with the snubbers during suspension compression.

AMAZING!

Now I can get back to work!!!!!!

Jerry,you need to go back and smooth the molding lines on the tranny. Other than that,looking great.LOL.
