Man, I couldn't wait to see the car painted.  Now I can't wait to see it all put together!
My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

How many coats of clear.  You're the kind of guy who would wet sand the entire car for that mirror finish.

I will put the wire covers back on after I clean them up.....

Eric, I do have a cowbell I can toss in to the works if needed..

There's no clear on the car.... It's straight black High gloss urethane. It will be sanded and buffed to a mirror, And I didn't want to be sanding through a clear coat to achieve it. The base /clear would be a waste of time since it's black, and clear coat is also urethane.
I also sanded the epoxy with 400 grit right before I painted it, between the chemical bond and the scratch of the 400, the paint should be pretty permanent. lol

here's a couple more after I hung the fenders on, and removed the tape from the tags in the door jambs

And here's the wheels that are going on

Mmmm...I wish I could find a nice set of turbines.  I am ready to put some better riding springs on and go with some 15's or 16's soon and get a change from 17's.

Probably not. You have to drive the car for brake dust to happen. It'll probably get driven less then the vert. I put less then 300 miles on the vert in a year.
