Looking good as always. Is that the stock front sway bar or a TC one?

Jerry, there's actually a mad max car in the Niagara Region, I used see it at cruize nights in niagara falls on sundays all the time when i went. The steering wheel is even on the right hand side and everything.

Everything up front is still stock except for the springs that Vinnie sent me.

Todays fun
time to drill the upper holes and weld it together

I put wires through the frame to keep the sleeves in place. it would suck if they moved while pounding on the other side.

the other side will be next, and some more painting.
the bolts for the front won't be in till monday, so I'll have time to finish painting the hard to reach places, clean up the steering rack and shaft and start looking for the parts that I took off a while back, and bolting things back on

LOL.... The scroll broke on my mouse too.....

I always wanted to build a "Mad Max" car. That would be fun

The most bad ass car ever !!!! There's one of those about an hour south of here.Man,I want one of those.

Onto the Cougar, great work.I really am amazed at the time you've applied to this project.True love. It's these builds,on these cars, that make us SO much cooler than Stang guys.I've said it before, anyone can build a Stang,it takes someone special to build one of our cars.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

And here's the other side done.

Everything seems to be lining up good. next is a little more painting and making sure everything is ready to bolt up on Monday.
I also bought a gallon of epoxy primer and 2 gallons of black paint for the car today. :D

Wow looks like it might actually be back on the road soon then huh? Well maybe not... what do you have planed for the engine? I worked a little more on mine, Nothing worth taking pictures of though I will be getting a sandblaster this weekend from my dad .... stay tuned

Is this car intended for just a cruiser? Do you have plans to ever take it to the track?

Don't you hate it when you get done putting the car together, and you have a bucket of bolts left? I could only imagine how big your bucket is;).

Good work on the car. I would really like to see what it looks like with paint.

My original plans were to make it a cruiser, but now I have the vert for that, so anything's possible for this one now.
I got a 5.0 in the parts bird and everything for a HO conversion right now,and Mass air If I choose in the future.

I guess I must be planning something in the future. with all the mods and upgrades I did to it.
