What goes where? **sensors** October 22, 2007, 02:30:51 AM I've got 3 homeless plug-ins.2 are on the end of the wiring harness...(passenger side) I know one of the two go into the heater core pipes, which are gone. However, I am unaware of the location of the other. The last one is near the beginning of the wiring harness...(driver side) I believe they are all CTS but I am not %100 positive on that.Would they all be needed to have the car running? Is there a way to 'bypass' them or trick the car into thinking everything is fine? What goes where? **sensors** Reply #2 – October 22, 2007, 06:54:52 AM There are two plugs near the Master Cylinder that are used for pulling codes.they just hang there and do nothing until then. Quote Selected
What goes where? **sensors** Reply #3 – October 22, 2007, 02:05:18 PM One might be for the engine coolant temp sensor for the computer. The sensor was originally located on the heater pipes. Quote Selected

What goes where? **sensors** Reply #6 – October 23, 2007, 01:25:37 AM Ok so, #12 the Canister Purge Solenoid and #18 the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor are not plugged.#1. I am fairly positive the CTS will cause problems, but what can I do about that? I have removed the heater core pipes.#2. Will the Canister Purge Solenoid cause any problems? Sounds like smog-stuff, and that has been removed as well. Quote Selected

What goes where? **sensors** Reply #10 – October 23, 2007, 02:46:36 PM The ECT is not necessary to make the engine run, but to run as it should it's defiantly needed...I take it you've eliminated the hard heater lines and gone just with hose??? If so, find the fitting from a car that had the automatic climate control, there will be a fitting for the EATC sensor near the heater core outlets that should work...OR if you are saying you eliminated the heater hookup all together screw it directly into the intake...Tom Quote Selected

What goes where? **sensors** Reply #13 – October 23, 2007, 09:10:49 PM the threads arent the same size. i believe the coolant temp sensor uses metric threads, and the manifold uses SAE. you'll need to find an adapter pipe fitting. it will screw in where the heater tubes unscrewed from.(near the t-stat housing) Quote Selected
