Very nice car but not worth 8000 or 11000. This guy killed it w/those wheels though and it dose show some evidence of ware.

If they get that price, I could probably sell mine  for $5000

mine only has 100,000 miles on it.

The 20s make it look like a stupid looking hotwheels car.
I wonder how much the 5.0L so struggles with their rotating mass LOL.

It is in "IMALCULATE" condition.  Yes, thats right! I said IMALCULATE.

Someone should send him the link of the one in Muskegon for $6600 at 55k miles.  At least that one has a few options.

It figures...it's in Niles, the poseur capital of Trumbull County.

That car is like 25 minutes from me. If the car was anywhere remotely appealing I'd call the dude up. Doesn't look like that's going to happen. ;)

Can you do a favor for all of us?  Just call up, ask if he has a Cougar for sale, laugh hysterically, then hang up.

I wonder if he would knock $4K off and keep the rims?

XR-7 emblem is missing from the trunk. subtract another $1000.

Juuuussstttt thought of something...I might know the history of this car.

About 5 years ago there was a local guy selling an all-original, all-black '88 XR7 with just 24,000 original miles. This car was possibly THE cleanest Cougar I've ever seen (and remember, I was around to see these cars new on the showroom floor). You could literally lick any part of this car and not get dirt. Absolutely flawless. Anyway, he tried selling it several times and eventually it sold for something like $6,000 US a few years later. He had originally been asking $11K US.

Now I'm wondering if it's the same car...obviously things have gone slightly downhill since then but it's possible this is the same vehicle.

Once again...crack is whack. ;)

Honestly my first thought was "Ill bet he put 10k into the wheels alone!!!"
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane
