Yeah, they have come down a little since the GT500 came out, but not by much. There's not a single one under $29,999 out here.

I sold my Bird :(

But I still have the business, and I'm never giving that up. I've actually been better about getting new stuff out since selling the car, so this is probably a good thing! The spoilers are out now, the website upgrade is underway, I'm having 100% new emblems made, it's been a good month!

Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

LOL...tired. working lots of OT while i have the oppertunity to gobble it up. we recently bought a house so the wife and i have been focused on that. what a PITA. were just now setteling in. moved in and just got the cable and internet turned on a few days ago. so...im so stoked to finally have a house. unfortunatly no garage. plenty of room for one in a few years though. the kids finally have a decent yard to run around in. so everyone is happy. thanks fir askin dude ;)

Long time no hear man! I figured you'd be poking me with a big ol stick over this :hick:

I'd be interested but I'm doing some NASA/SCCA auto-crossing next year. Your car would be in the Unlimited class, whereas a stock Mach 1 gets to play in E Stock. So, yeah, I'm starting with a stock Mach 1 and going up from there ;)

nah, i wont do that to yah. did it to yourself already. kind of takes the fun out of it. ill hold off till you have the keys to one in your hand. for now it was enpugh to just snicker to myself. im not set on selling mine right yet but ive been considering it for awhile. i just dont drive it much. ive driven it twice since i put the 6 speed in it a month ago. mach 1s can be had for a steal now anyway.

T56 swap wasnt too bad. the T45 that came out had the integrated bell housing wich made the top passenger side bolt a pain in the nuts to get off. even the header s and starter were no fun. its tight in there. it was pretty str8 foward. id submit a slip if they werent all tossed. gotta go earn smore ;)
 
the car needs gears now though. its slower off the line with the super steep 2.66 1st. quite a jump from 3.35 or so with the t45. if the car is still around it will get a decent intake, electric water pump, 3.90s (maybe 410s well see) a high flow x or h pipe as well as a tune. the plan was to make sure this T56 is as it should be and then sell it towards the 00" cobra R T56. (better gearing).
i have some mach 1 sail pannels that need to be painted to match the car. i realy want saleen "side skirts" as well. the stock ones on these cars are all wrong for the car imo. i think it qould look killer with the 18" anthracite or black with a machine lip fr500s. the rears would be 10.5s . im just at a point where i need to decide weather or not it would be wise to dump even more money into a car thats only depreciating in value. its just about old enough where you would need teir 1 credit to get a loan for it (the chassis and interior is 7 years old). i either need to sell it for what its worth now or suck it up and hang onto it and realize if i want to sell it later it will have to be for just about beans. such is life....
 
if i were you id pull the trigger on a decent clean mach 1 IF you cant hold out for a turmie. that would be cool. the only drawback to driving either one frequently is they require premium fuel due to the high compression and tune.

I like the Mach's better then the blown Cobra's. And if I had blown Cobra money I'd buy a 05/06 GTO or a C5 Z06.

I just want something I can auto-x, drag race, and drive every day. The Mach fits the bill and the better half approves, so it's a win-win for me. And the $$$ is to the affordable point for me.

The problem with Mustangs is that so many of them are modified, and those mods do not retain value. I'd honestly sell yours and buy the one you really want to start with. Sounds like you need a downgrade though, maybe you should do the opposite of me and sell your Stang for a clean TC so you won't have any payments.
