New Tbird Video!!!

I learned how to use Windows Movie Maker the other day, so last night after we left the track, a friend and I decided to take a shot at making a "youtube video" of my Tbird.  It's still definitely a WIP because we were mainly experimenting with different shots, angles, and whatnot...and I still need to learn how to revv :hick: .  However, I was never aware that my Tbird sounded so mean from the outside.  I smile every time I hear it in the vids.  For having 4 cats and $15 lers, it sounds REALLY good imo (especially @ 1:24 in the vid, with 44sec left in the video).  I hope you guys enjoy, and I'll be updating the video with new/better footage as my friend and I get more.  Without further ado...

yeah lookin good!

only suggestion on the obligatory "rev shot" just lower the music volume for that amount of time (if that can be done) so the car can be heard better, or just let the tach turn farther :hick:

sounds good though, and you put the vid together well!
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

I *think* I can only adjust the music/video volume for the whole video, but I'll have to look around some.  I probably just need to revv better (i took her up to 4000-4500).  Thanks for the compliments :) .

oh well then the car aint gonna get any louder. stay where you are lol

must be the s are just too quiet. prolly just gotta find the right balance between the car and the music, if it can only be adjusted for the duration. really depends on what you want people to see/hear. i guess a real MTV music video wouldnt have any sound of whats going on, and the sound is only the song. if thats what you want have the music loud, but if you want us to hear the ride too it could probably ocme down a little

Yeah it's weird how the car sounds great when driving, but not as great when revving.  Oh well.

Nicely done guys.

Makes me really miss my bird now..... :(

Needs a burnout in the video, and ditch the clutch fan for an electric one.  Sound way better.

Yeah, an electric fan is definitely in the near future.  As for the burnout, if anyone wants to donate tires, I'll be glad to do a burnout for yas :D .
