84 XR7's new home.....my garage! Reply #30 – August 28, 2007, 12:07:54 AM Quote from: ipsd;172289My 84 has cruise and I have the A frame steering wheel. That turbo should be a T-3. The biggest difference in the setup between it and a 5spd is the boost is cut down to help save the tranny. Being a 84 is should have the C3 tranny.Yes, it is the c3, as soon as I get home(if it lasts that long) I am getting rid of that little monster.Quote from: Aerobird Motorsports;172331Nice! Now take the 'Bird off the market, you'll love having a matched pair!I would love to do this. But it is just not possible at this time. God would I love to do that. I have always dreaded the day the Bird must go. But it is for the better. I will build another, I promise. Quote from: BCA;172367Brian,Congrats on the purchase! When you get a moment, could you see what the build date & exterior color code is?Thanks,Brent:cougarsmily: Absolutely I will do this for you. As soon as you tell me where to find it. My Bird has not tags or stickers or anything. I know there is one on the door and under the hood. Let me know which it is you want and I will get it......screw it. I'll take pics of them both for ya....here ya go.brian Quote Selected

84 XR7's new home.....my garage! Reply #36 – August 30, 2007, 10:08:35 AM I buffed the paint out and it turned out kinda nice. In some spots the paint is REALLY thin from fading. I had to ware overhauls so I didn't get red shiznit all over me. I will post some before and after pictures today if it clears up a little bit. More work on it this weekend.brian Thanks again for all the comments everyone! Quote Selected
