Thanks everyone. I think I am going to shoot for racing it in Sept. I'm sure I could have it together, but having the money for a tune and a new rear may not happen.

I have two ideas for the exterior of the car. It won't be black.

Wow, very nice.  Man, I gotta stop messing with all these cars and concentrate one the '85 of mine.  The last thing i did to it was weld up all the holes in the engine bay and grind them off.  Hell that was 3months ago.

If you have it running in September that wouldn't be considered slow work.  You'll be busy.  It would be great to see you and the car at Cecil, but don't rush yourself.

Looking good Jim....slow and steady wins the race! If you had it done you'd be out looking for another project.  Keep up the good work.

Let me know when you race it or if you ever need any help.

Love that engine bay Jim :D
Sheeez, I have to one of, if not the slowest, one here. I haven't worked on my bird in like 3 months, well not since I finished the subframe connectors. Haven't touch it since.  :(
Keep up the good work though :D

Wow, that's some solid work!  Should look clean a hell.

Now, about that oil filter... If you gotta use a fram, at least get the tough guard.  I have seen two engines (ford 2.3, mitsu 2.0T) have oil pump failures with those filters.  Those particular filters have issues with drain back and high rpm restriction.
