5.0 Mass Air conversion on 2.3 turbo? Reply #3 – July 21, 2007, 09:32:44 AM I also have everything I need to upgrade to a 5.0 throttle body but need to have my intake port matched and I’ve got 46lb injectors, a new fuel rail (OEM), and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. But I want to put all that on together and like I said I need to port match my intake manifold. Quote Selected

5.0 Mass Air conversion on 2.3 turbo? Reply #5 – July 21, 2007, 01:11:12 PM If you look at the wiring diagram for a car with a MAF and a car with a VAM they are totally different. Its not as simple as changing the connector. A MAF is treated as a stand alone sensor, a VAM shares wires with other sensors. Quote Selected

5.0 Mass Air conversion on 2.3 turbo? Reply #14 – July 27, 2007, 10:16:05 AM I was told as long as the mass air meter came off another turbo engine that it'll work but my question is were there any turbo fords that came with a flow through maf similar to the 5.0 maf? I found a few on ebay that say they're probe or merker turbo mass air's but can't tell from the pics if they're flow through’s. Quote Selected
