Im reviving this thread because I dont want it to die, lol.

And your 4x4 can go... climb a rock or something.

I would love to get back to the track, but we have been having February weather in April. In fact it was 10 degrees warmer on Christmas than it is right now. I also really want to get a new fuel pump in before I get to the track. Premium being $3.02 a gallon at the cheapest doesnt help either, being that I need at least half a tank of gas to launch hard without the car dying.

I ran my 87 TC 460 Sat. Night.

Best e.t. was the last pass of the night....8.591 @ 79.232 mph with a 60 ft. of 1.816.

This is with my old worn out 77 LTD low compression  engine.
Performer 2166 intake.
Edelbrock 600 carb
stock exhaust manifolds w/ 2.5 in duals
TCI Sat Night Special torque conv.
3580 lbs with me in it
M&H 275-55-16 Rear drag radials
Stock TC wheeels
3.55 trak-loc
Shifted at 4300 rpm on the 1-2 shift and 4,000 at 2-3 shift.

Car hooked great and felt great right off the trailer!!!:D :D :D

-Temp was about 80*

Spun and got sideways in 1st gear every run.

Man I wanna get back up to the track so bad. This gas thing is just killing it though. Probably close to $40 for a half a tank of premium and $20 to race, then probably another $20 in gas just to get back home and have gas in the tank to drive on. It just aint happening :(

The car needs some maintenance item taken care of too... Its about due for an oil change, and needs a tuneup as well.
