I think I have to say this.

Im not in love with the idea of converting an 1/8th timeslip to a 1/4 and using that...

Simply because its not that accurate.

I ran my 1/8th ET and MPH through your calculator and...

Your 1/4 Mile ET is 15.84 seconds computed from your vehicle 1/8th ET of 10.1533 seconds.
Your 1/4 Mile MPH is 90.28 MPH computed from your vehicle 1/8th MPH of 72.81 MPH.

The calculated ET is a whole .4 seconds slower, and the MPH is 2 mph lower than my actual 1/4 numbers.

At LEAST note next to the entry that it was a calculated 1/4 ET and MPH.

Or have a separate list for 1/8th mile runners.

Just my opinion. This has been bugging me for a while now though. I just feel that you shouldn't be on the top 25 1/4 mile runners list if you haven't actually run a 1/4 mile.
93 Festiva L, 193k miles, BP+T/G25MR swap, T3 50trim .48/.42, SRT FMIC, Capri electronics/Rocketchip, 2.5" exhaust
bests: ET 12.86, MPH 110.25, 1.92 short
02 Subaru Impreza WRX, 129k miles
97 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, 236k miles

My vote is use it... Its an acceptable sub till you can get a real 1/4 run... Most conversions are generally slower than actual times, because they are set up using better prepared cars than the average street vehicle... Mine said 13.19@102...

With this info you get a idea how shiznitty your 60ft times really are, as compared to optimum... Which ain't always possible(practical) for a daily driver...

Could you add the 1/8 mile times also and just leave off the 1/4 for folks who don't have it.

3 new times for tonight ;)

Ted's Caddy-Bird went at least a 13.632@102.50 (fastest slip I have for him) for 10th Overall and 4th in Big Block. I even ran a 13.9@101 myself in it ;) Ted even got 2.0 60's!

Jim's 100% stock 5.0 SO Bird went 17.50@78 for last, but it was very consistent and looks great going down the track.

Layla went 15.252@90.89 for 18th (19th with Ted in there) just .01 behind yellowcougar. Good for 4th on the TC list ;) John ran twice and got a 15.60 with her too. 2.353 60' is good for 22nd. We had a LOT of wheelspin :D:D Got some nice photos hazing the tires down to the 330' :D

Timeslips and updates up in the morning ;)

Fuzzy pic, but we have the slips and witnesses ;)

Ted's CaddyBird -
60' - 1.893
1/8 - 8.451@83.11
1/4 - 13.185@103.97

Ted's CaddyBird with me driving -
RT - .021
60' - 1.870
1/8 - 8.528@81.41
1/4 - 13.323@102.85

John's GTO -
60' - 1.988
1/8 - 8.494@84.84
1/4 - 13.098@106.91

Layla -
60' - 2.353
1/8 - 9.822@71.67
1/4 - 15.252@90.89

Jim went a 17.50@78 but he has all of his slips. Hopefully we'll get a pic from him soon ;)

Ted also has about 35 slips floating around, so a better 1/8, 60', and MPH are all possibilities. Not to mention a clearer shot of the 13.185! :hick:

hence "tires" instead of DR's or what not :hick:

I still don't understand how it's so much faster then Jim's stock SO TBird. What exactly has been done?

With no knowlage of Jim, could Russ just be a better driver? Maybe he tree'd  better or just the difference of an HO to an SO?

The difference would be the H.O.'s 70 HP advantage at the flywheel.
