Post up pics of your wheels.... Reply #286 – June 24, 2013, 06:19:38 AM Great to look at all of the great wheel selections. I personally am partial to the Cobra R's. Am looking to get a set to replace the factory's. I am staying 4 lug for the time being. Question for the group please, 14 is stock size. Replacement size being 16 or 17? Any suggestions. Will 17 fill up the wheel well too much. My car is flat stock right now. Suggestions are appreciated on this from those that are more knowledgeable. Quote Selected

I had them machined down to fit inside the Center Line wheels. Quote Selected

I had them machined down to fit inside the Center Line wheels. That looks really cool.I was wondering if you have a thread on how those wheels were built like that?I am curious on how the trx center sections bolt up.I want to keep my original wheels for my car for street use but have the rears widened and the fronts narrowed but I am also doing a five lug conversion. I am wanting to have a stock look wheel for the street but fit big drag radials for the rear and skinny's up front but still look like stock Thunderbird wheels to the average person.I am going to be running race wheels for just that but I still would like to have a sleeper look on the street. It would be cool to see how those wheels of yours work if you can show that it would be really coolThanksMark. That's it.These pics are the T-Bird/Cougar ones I did in 2007, but the idea works the same on the Mustang TRX's.Hope this helps.Alan Quote Selected
