Post up pics of your wheels.... Reply #259 – October 08, 2012, 07:32:29 PM Thanks, this is a reply to an email i got about my rims. They are 14 inch unqiue chrome rims. They were the only rim that i could find that would fit my car. They are 4 bolt rims and the only thing is they stick out a half inch at the front because there is no off set. I think my tire size is 225r14 but i'm not exactly sure because it is stored right now for the winter and i am currently in school. i would suggest sticking with the original size tire because if i hit a big bump the tire rubs at the front on something so when its time to get new tires i'm going to switch back to the original size tires. also i'm not exactly sure the width of therims maybe 7 inch but thats a guess. Just a fyi, any 4 lug Mustang wheel will fit your Tbird. Some tire stores will say they don't because Tbirds are different. Quote Selected

The tires just appear to be a tad too narrow for the wheels. Was this done for the look, to allow for clearance or due to financial constraints? How is the fender lip to wheel/tire clearance? What is the size, width, offset and backspacing? Quote Selected
Post up pics of your wheels.... Reply #268 – October 18, 2012, 12:59:01 AM I was going for a stretched/hellaflush look. The wheels are 18x9's all around, +18mm offset. I think the tires are 225/45/18. I got all 4 as a package deal so I used them on the rears, with a 1.5" spacer to fill that large empty fender.. I will at some point in the future do it properly and have a correct wheel offset with a bigger rear tire. I always felt 17's were a tad too small for a car this big.. The clearance on the rears is within millimeters. I tried looking around to have my wheel spacers shimmed narrower by a quarter of an inch but no one would do them. Quote Selected
