What that means is that the only reason I don't have it, is I don't have a suitiable car to take it in. My GF's jeep has a bad headasket and I don't wana make it worse. I tried in teh vic but they failed it for " modified exhaust", and every other one of my freinds is too stuck up to let me borrow a car.

As for the not owning the car, I bought/was given the car as a gift my jounior year as a early grad present from a very good family freind. I was susposed to get the title when I graduated. I paid him $100 for it, then worked on it up to his unfornituate death in febuary this year, the middle of my senior year. From that point on, I have been in contact with his wife, who just reciently got back to me about the papers being in probate court. I asked her about signing the car over and she said " she's not ready to let the last part of him go yet". Which means to me back off a while longer, not like I can drive it anyways

You know you haven't been fixing this car.  You have been ****ing it up.  Wanting a nice original Fila as you always talk about and all you have done is remove the things that make it what it is?!  What happened to the tripminder?  Why are you putting manual seats in?  What the hell is up with the $2 switch in the ultra rare, probably hardest to find system sentry panel?  Removed power steering?  That is by far the stupidest thing you can do.  That rack will not move like a manual rack, and people told you that.  Removed the A/C?  Redneck.  Sunpro Tach screwed to the A pillar?  Redneck.  Talk of manual brakes?  Stupid.  You have been told your PCV is hooked up wrong, but have you fixed it? No!  The car ran when you got the harness from John for the CFI and then you ripped it all out and now you talk about it not starting all the time.  Jesus kid.

All I've got to say is Mikey pay Eric resolve whatever problems you have, and get the  title. As for the parts he gets, he gets them from junkyards, I know I talk to him about it. 32vfoxbird, I think you need to shut your mouth and let these two handle it. Im only stepping in because you always seem to dog on people whenever possible. Mikey if I have to send Eric the money, that way the parts I have from you are paid for and Eric has his money, so be it. Get it done.

And the fact that I am doing this work to the car is my choice. I am learning as I go, but atleast I'm learning. I do want a nice Fila, but not this one. This car is a big ass experiment and had been from day one. The power sterring isn't removed permintaly, just for the monent untill I can find a different bracket set. I was told it will work without the power sterring, just be harder to drive. I did fix the PCV setup, you just can't see it as the air cleaner is set on top. The trip minder went to Brian, as he asked for it. I have no use for it, and it wouldn't work since I converted to carb anyways. Manual seats, because I don't like the power seats. $2 switch in the system sentrey, because the power antena didn't work, the preimum sound didn't work... I see no more reason then that to put switches in. The AC was never in teh car, so don't even give me shiznit about that part. Sunpro tach on the A piller looks ALOT better then behind the sterring wheel. I know very well atleast one other person on the boards has a tach the same place, so again, me being singled out. Manual brakes, another thing that I want to experiment with. Other people have done it buy yet here we are making it like I'm the first to do so. It ran just fine with the carb, accept it missed all the time and couldn't keep in time. It did that with the CFI as well. So through all of this, it comes down to the fact of i'm doing something different. I don't wana walk the same path as everyone else. Just because you say it will not work will not stop me from trying it. If it doesn't work then I have to deal with it. You know some people learn better through doing the wrong thing then having the right choice handed to them.

and why are you so hard up to help him? Fila is the biggest poser on the net. he talks a lot of shiznit, and then when its brought up to the surface, he starts back peddling.

your myspace says you have 11" "mustang" brakes, flowmaster 40's, mac prochamber, TC 8.8", etc. it also said your car ran a 14.2, before you edited.

where's the proof of these?

I have the stuff to do 11" brakes, just need to do. I have a lead on a Mac Prochamber local i'm buying soon as money permits. Same with the TC rear, I'm waiting to put it in. On Cardomain, there are cars set up similer to mine that run those times, so I gustimated it.

I'm not giving excuses for anything. Just trying to figure out what exactly I did wrong.  I'm not doing any of this to make you happy. If you don't like how the car is build or put to together tough shiznit. It's being built for me. For what I want. To make ME happy. If I did do something wrong, let me know what it is so I can correct it

Did he also tell you that he jumps the junkyard fences at night and pockets all those desirable things?

Yeah...didn't think so.

Probably 90% of what he sold here in the last year has been hot. So again, buyer beware.

As for the money, it's not important to me. The principle is. And that's something ya just can't buy with any amount of money.

Fila, good luck with your car. I hope that, by the end of your journey with it, something will function correctly and that you get your messes straightened out. You're also welcome to Cat Jam, with or without a car. You seem to have had a good time and that's what counts.

But don't think that I won't forget what happened.

From this point on, I'm going to back out of the shiznitstorm I have caused for my self.
I'm sitting back, reading before I post, keeping my pie hole shut and only losting if I have something inteligent to say or can help someone else. I'm making mends with everyone I could have possabaly pissed off from day one. maybe I can get back into this, maybe not. Reguardless of the final outcome, I'm going to try. So with this, I await something I can acutally do right. Only time will prove this to everyone, and I've got till january 22 to do so
