It WILL be at CJ next year if I am. It depends on if I'm deployed or not. IF I'm not, I'll drag teh car there if I have to. As "good" as things keep going, I see no reason why it would not be there next year. It is I'd say 5.5/10 of what it will be this time next year. Of all the stuff I need to do, alot of it is cleaning/fixing my own mistakes.

US Navy. I go to boot camp Jan 22.

As for the car, I got teh Serp belt mounted. 3G alt, grank, and water pump is all thats left on the accseorys. I used a E7TE pulley. I picked it up on a hunch out of the dumpster at the JY and low and behold, it fits. Tomorow we'll clean the engine compartment, perminatly run ALOT of wires... lots of fun planned. And pics, as I just finished and now it's too dark to take pics

Updated pics... but STILL not done cleaning/tweeking/making it pretty. As stated above I converted to one serpintine belt insted of one v belt and one serp. Removed powersterring pump and capped off the rack. Cleaned up the Int, mounted my new console control panel, wired speakers under the seats, mounted my new steering wheel, hosed the car off, cleaned all the allumnium I could on the motor... and here we are.

So far good. Stock alt bracket, smog pump removed from it. Stock crank pully, and a E7TE water pump pulley. Nothing hits, though I might clearence a bit of room on the alt bracket to be safe.

I'm not weasling out of anything. All weekend you looked busy, so I left it alone. Clay didn't pay me in, I gave him $20, and he paid $25 because he brought a car.

I don't understand what exacty I did wrong. At the house, you walked over, got it out and tossed it to me. No word of wanting paid for it. I figured you gave it to me. Then we went right back to looking through the paint/option books. If you really want, I'll ship you back the wheel cover tomorow morning, WITH the $20 I "owe" for it.

As for non progress, how did I fail here as well? I did the work. I replaced the timing chain, pulled all the allumnium and brackets off the car, cleaned them as best I could, then put back on. I changed a pulley to get the new belt to work, and I cleaned the interior. I didn't know there was a set of rules to acomplishing something that seemed worth it to me, since I'm the one who put the time in to get the work done

Continue to work on a car that's not yours. That's cool, whatever floats your boat man. The fact remains that you don't have the title or a driver's license, yet you're old enough to drive and seem to be procuring money somehow. And yet you have the money to buy all these new things while you still owe money to people.

Me throwing you the cover...that was a test. A test to see if you really would pay me, as stated in my previous 'for sale' thread. To see if you'd remember that I wanted money for it in the first place, since I did pay money for it originally. Needless to say, you failed the test. You never asked about the cost, the prudent way that people do business. It was just much easier to assume that it was a gift. Well, I'm not Kris Kringle, buddy. Frankly, I'd have rather lit it on fire than give it to you like I did. But I figured, hey, you're local, maybe I can trust ya.

If thats what works, then fine. Me not having a lisence and owning the car. Thats something I could never ask anyone else to understand, not do I think you would care if you did. I'll fix this debt, how ever suits to who I owe. I stated before I want to clear my name and start over. If allowed, I would still like to. From then on, I want to earn all, if any respect back. I'm not debating that I've FUBAR'D major, and I'm not running from it.
