I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

she's lookin pretty nice Mike!!! especially with the center caps in now :hick:
 
ive actually got a set of those wheels in the shed. mom made me put the originals on because dad put a set of 150 mph tires on those wheels. :rolleyes::giggle:  she IS right, it would be unsafe, and they certainly wouldnt work in the winter, but they look sooo cool. though at the same time the center caps say FORD and its a mercury car :hick:
 
i dont know WHY he put those tires on, not like that thing was gonna go anywhere NEAR that fast stock!!! not to mention thats 3 times the speed limit!
 
they look best on what theyre intended for, a 'bird, IMO.

Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

I'm holding out for either Turbines soon, or my dream of a torque thrust on this car eventualy. give it a real look. But for now, 10 holes do it. Better then the 8 holes IMO

i have i think 2 snowflakes, like 3 10 holes, and now a set of turbines at my dads. This summer im gonna restore them all and sell all but the ones he wants on his car.

Wow, a sticky. I must have something good goin here now. Due to new " school" issues, I'll have the next 7 days to work on the car. Should have ALOT done real soon. Today is the final wiring of most things under hood, hopefuly dial in the carb correctly, clean up the engine itself and then possibaly a bath

Thanks man. Alot of LONG days trying to get things just to work right. The fun part is tuning everything not to just work, but work together to produce a nice car. A bath is first and coming soon, to my knowlage it hasn't been washed in about 6 years, since my freind parked it.

It should clean up well.
Just a thought. Have you thought about painting the 10 holes white?
It would give the car the original look with the better wheels.

I know you were planning on not keeping the 10 holes but it might look really nice.

Get the rattle can white wheel paint by Duplicolor.
I redid my turbines with it in '04. It goes on smoothly and holds up extremely well. Worked like a charm ;)

Again, it's just an idea/suggestion.
