If anything other than a lima were to ever reside under the hood of my car, the coyote is on the short list. I'd probly stick to a single snail however.Currently my dream engine consists of one with 4 intact connecting rods.... Quote Selected
Dream engine build? Reply #17 – July 14, 2011, 01:11:03 PM 4.6 or 5.4 with blower, I think the thing I would like most is a "clean motor" all the wiring, vacuum lines hidden. Something I could drive everyday and still abuse. Quote Selected
Dream engine build? Reply #18 – July 14, 2011, 06:49:25 PM My dream engine in a Fox car? You'll all think I'm retarded, but I'd love to drop a Duramax into a Mark VII. Money being no object it'd be built to the nuts (at least as far as it could be built without affecting durability too much). The rest of the car would be built up so that I could use it to reliably and safely haul a decent sized (24-foot-ish) camper trailer on a North American tour. I remember reading about a fairly stock Duramax engine powering a fox Mustang into the 10's and still getting ~35 MPG. Of course that's a non-Ford engine. My dream Ford-into-Fox build would probably be something not too retarded, like an Ecoboost cranked up to ~400 horses... Quote Selected
