Well, the deeper in I get, the worse it looks for keeping this car. I could get a killer deal on most of the parts I would need to fix it, (Thanks hcor!!), but with no time and being so close to the holidays, not to mention the rust, I'll probaly end up stripping and sping her. I've known this car for 22 yrs., but with the excessive rust, I don't know if I want to put too much money into it. I will use alot of the parts on the other Sport I have, and sell some here. On a bright note, it will give me a chance to put new seals and gaskets, and a few other goodies on the 5.0, while I keep the other Sport together, then just swap motors when the time comes. I have been thinking about keeping some part of the body, and hanging on the wall when we redo our "racing" room, (any ideas, throw them out there!!) just as a small memorial to a great car. Well anyway enough rambling, I'll post up an ad when I get the car apart with available parts. Thanks to all for your kind words and support.:D

Only you can make the decision on what you need to do. If it can live in  another car, Then that's the way it got to be.

I know it sucks to lose one but at least you have another and the other will be able to live on in it.

That'll buff out.  I would start with the more aggressive rubbing compound though.

maybe a little wet sanding before the compound lol

glad you're ok.. i swear people with dodges fail at life in every way

Wow, that was pretty bad. :( Sounded like a chaotic accident as far as traffic goes. Sorry to hear you are sping her but I understand the situation pretty well.
