I would like to try out some proto's of these mounts :D I am fixing up my busted motor (broken piston) and one of the mounts is loose already - I guess it doesn't take long with 450 FT-LBS of torque! :D Any chance I could get a couple of proto's to try out?

Yeah, I don't think so either - it's hard to see how high the ring goes from the pics, but it seems pretty unlikely it will be an issue - just wanted to mention it... I'll be letting ya know how they hold up to 550 lb-ft of torque though

I can wait now - haven't broken my mounts yet, but it won't be long with 500ft-lb of torque at the flywheel

I've just been paging back through this thread and find your posts quite funny. This car must be like a fine wine, that just gets more powerful with age! :rollin:

I won't poke too much fun, as your machine is ed respectable no matter how you represent it. :)

I've often wondered if I am being consistent in my guesstimates of the torque from this beast. :rollin:

I just upped the boost from 9 to 13 psi and now the torque is one of those numbers for sure! :giggle:

Oh, and this is for you :flip: smartass ;)
