I put a TC/XR-7 wheel in my '85 Cougar. Better looking and far more comfortable than the skinny-rimmed stocker. I've replaced the T-Bird center with a Cougar head one since this picture was taken.

I recently ran across this picture taken during a Shelby Club outing to Willow Springs raceway in 1984. The 'bird seems nicely done, and of course would have been nearly new. I don't know anything else about it, unfortunately.

Most  catless aftermarket H & X pipes include a provision for hooking up the smog tube, even though without the cats its not really doing anything, emissions wise. If your exhaust system doesn't allow for hooking up the smog tube, I'd recommend getting a smog pump eliminator and deleting the whole system. But if you decide to leave it just dumping into the air, I don't think it would hurt anything. Haven't tried it though.

I have a pair of keys (the ones with the rubber covered heads and "Turbo" on the ignition key) along with the remote entry fob from a long-gone TurboCoupe parts car. I don't know that they're good for anything, but if they're worth three bucks for postage to you, let me know and they're yours.

I talked to the owner. He says the sheetmetal is all good, and it has a near perfect blue interior. 14 inch wheels with wire covers.
