I am done with my second V-8 swap and the donor car is ready to be cannibalized. Most of the drive line is gone, including distributor. But the interior is SUPER CLEAN (dark blue), hood is 99% rust free, all lights and harnesses and associated housings are fully intact.... Let me know what you may need and will get it for you. Are there just Gremlins in the dash then? I finished installing an aftermarket stereo last night and now my dash does not light up, the right blinker signal doesn't flash, the clock doesn't work, and my trunk release quit working. wtf?
Thanks guys. Left the T 5 in the crate for now. Went with a C-4. Now I have progressed onto finding the right rear end for her. Looking at an 8.8 from a 93 Mark VIII or a 4.10 8.8 from a 97 Ranger.
I found an 8.8 Aluminum Differential from a 93 Mark VIII. I also have an entire rear end from a 97 Ford Ranger with the 8.8 and 4.10's.... Looking for input, thanks guys.
I have a 3.8 in my bird currently. I have a 5.0 H.O. out of a 93 Mustang that is going in. The auto tranny that is in now is also being replaced with a rebuilt aped-out T5 out of an 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. The Mustang motors always had a special computer, correct? I need to get a computer conversion harness that will get my car and the new motor to talk, correct?
