I've been searching, hoping that someone may have posted trunk measurements already, but no luck so far. Anyways, I have no speakers in the rear deck and do plan on losing the trunk spring bars. I have two 15s and will likely have to angle the speakers at a 45 degree upwards angle. I don't mind measuring myself, but if someone would care to share theirs, it would save me a bit of trouble and whomever plans this in the future.
odd... the one i saw today had springs. must be a conversion kit. i may just try them out and hope i get lucky/post results. but yeah, i had hope the sway bar would be bigger. oh well... thanks for the input.
So, I've been looking through here, but I don't see much info on Lincoln Mark VII parts as to whether they can be successfully swapped to a Bird or Cat. I'm curious about the rear springs and the front and rear sway bars mostly, and how they compare to the Fox-body Mustang and Turbocoupe/XR7 options.
I was having issues like this for about 2 weeks. Narrowed it down between the neutral safety switch and the solenoid, so I inspected the wiring finally and the harness was royally screwed... old plastic cracking and all. salvaged it and all is good now. Basically, what I'm saying, is don't assume the wiring is fine.
I have 17" Rims, 3.55 gears, and a 22 tooth speedily gear. Anyone know the equation to get the speedo as close to accurate as possible using tire sizes? Wanna get it close enough so the cruise control will work properly.
So yeah, I finally got around to making a website. Been kicking the idea around a few years now. Tell me how ya like it. It's not a super-clean design, but I'll be tweaking it.
I've got the same question today. I wish I could leave my fan controller hooked up hot all the time, but occasionally relays stick, and that would suck. So where is this yellow/gray wire? Driver's side by the starter solenoid?
