Electrical Tech / Door Lock Relays
I agree, it's probably the actuator.
Lots of Fords from the era used the same actuators, look in the junk-yard for something similar.

Lounge / beat my Ticket in court :)
Went to court yesterday to challenge a ticket I got in the summer for running a red and I won :D .  Couldn't believe it myself.  After the cross examination (I represented myself) I figured I was sunk but the judge addressed the fact that the officer hadn't gone back to the intersection after writing the ticket to check if the lights were cycling properly:nono: .  Case Dismissed!  I owe the fact that I didn't just pay it to the Fight-Your-Speeding-Ticket website.  It's an Ontario based site so all the laws pertained to me:rollin: .
  Just wanted to gloat.

BTW it was a $190 fine and 3 demerit points, not to mention what it'd do to my insurance.

blakct: why stop relying on what my plugs look like wouldnt that be something to judge whats going on in they chambers.

I was only saying that you seem to be relying too heavily on plug reading.  Maybe you just have clean plugs.  Perhaps it's not really lean at all.  What other lean symptoms was your car showing?  Good O2 sensors should usually take care of any rich/lean conditions, as long as your other sensors are in good shape.  So as I said before, replace your fuel filter and check your pressure again while under load at WOT.  In other words, tape the fuel pressure gauge to the windshield and go for a good hard run while your passenger tells you what the gauge reads.

Good luck.

in case anyone cares, Accel makes a 21# injector but you'd have to use a mass air calibrator from Interactive systems & technologies to tune your mass air for it.

I bet you need either a fuel filter, a new pump or to stop relying on what your plugs look like.  :canada:

Electrical Tech / Re: efi sensor kits?
Quote from: TurboCoupe50
If Ford Racing doesn't still have them as a kit, likely you won't find one. Check online, I'm feeling lazy at this moment.

I've been looking and can't come up with anything, but thanks. :canada:

Lounge / Re: Increasing efficiency, within reason? (long post)
I get far better fuel mileage with 3.73s than I did with 2.73s (especially in town- probably only 1 mpg on the hwy).  The car moves like it weighs 800lbs. less and on the hwy I'm only doing 23-2400 at 70mph.  Best mod yet.  Better Acceleration and mileage.

Thanks

Actually, that kit has o2, tab, tad, egr and some relays.  I'm looking for act, ect, bap and O2.  I'm looking for a kit cuz I saw one ages ago and it was way cheaper than buying seperately.

Electrical Tech / efi sensor kits?
Anyone know who sells all the eec-IV sensors as a kit?  Interactive Systems and Technologies used to.
