Somebody near MD buy this car! July 11, 2006, 06:58:14 PM My brother showed this thing to me last night- I can't believe how nice of shape this car is in. It's just begging to be hot rodded. If I was in a situation to have another car right now I would totally buy this thing and throw a 351 in there. At any rate someone needs to rescue it!http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=18273 Quote Selected
Somebody near MD buy this car! Reply #1 – July 11, 2006, 07:07:03 PM The car is in great shape. But 1,000 for a 6 cyl is a bit much for me. Besides, I have too many projects as it is. :( Quote Selected

I don't know how I'd drive a non-tagged, non-insured car and not get caught though. Quote Selected

Somebody near MD buy this car! Reply #5 – July 11, 2006, 08:52:25 PM ! I'd pay $1000 for that car. Presuming it's all sheet metal under that shiny paint. You just don't see cars that solid around anymore. Especially an '84! Regrettably, though, I don't have the funds. Quote Selected

Somebody near MD buy this car! Reply #9 – July 11, 2006, 10:31:37 PM That thing has the backup light in the middle of the lense. My friend spend a year and a half looking for one to fix his car. That thing is spotless from the pics he has posted. Quote Selected

Reply #10 – July 11, 2006, 10:35:53 PM Ok, this rescue business is how we ended up with 5 cats, real cats, of the feline persuasion.Anyway, is there really anyone here that would buy this car at Cat Jam for $1K?He's now sunk money into it and wants $1.5K.Would anyone here really pay $1K at Cat Jam this year, like in one week, for a car they haven't seen until payment is due? Somebody near MD buy this car! Reply #12 – July 11, 2006, 11:05:08 PM Actually there is a way to drive a unregistered, uninsured vehicle from point A to point B...I did it when I bought my TC. Go to the state police office, for a couple bucks they give you this tag to put up in your window so you can make a one way trip in a car youve bought. Now, if you were going across more than one state, I dunno.
