Hey all,
Is there anything usable or of any value on an '87 Mercury Marquis for our Fox cars? Somebody here at work has one for sale with a blown motor, and they're almost giving it away. It's got a clear title. I have to assume it's got an SO 5.0, right? What about the tranny, an AOD? I'd just like to know if it's worth picking up for almost nothing. If I don't, it's gonna end up being a derby car. Thanks for any info.

yeah, trans. will be the AOD, and some of the engine stuff will work in a 'Bird/Coug..not really sure on what exactly, my understanding is that inlet on the upper is opposite, but I may be wrong...or is 87 a CFI setup on the Panther chassis cars??

Anywho, i know the trans is an AOD, cause i pulled one from an 88 C-V..

86 and up Panther chassies had the SEFI 5.0 like the 86 up Birds/Cougars.
