I used the smaller version (13#) as a daily in my 2.3T Ranger for over a year, and I had had it for a year or two in the Tbird before that.  It started the truck all winter and the only time I had to jump it was a -10*...  I just opted for the slightly larger one since the battery was no longer going to be in the engine bay, so I wanted a little more CCA.

A couple quick shots of the turbo intake tube I fabbed up this past weekend..

The biggest thing to do now is get the coolant lines sorted...  I'll also probably break out the laptop this weekend and get the code reflashed and download the new .msq file.

bad ass.. not as bad ass as the X-flow will be, but bad as none the less..

should move pretty good.
I prefer the inline intakes looks also.. something about pipe in an engine bay makes it look faster...

Yup...it's a SHO motor....

For more details on what I'm doing with that see HERE (Make any comments on the SHO swap here :D)

The only thing that's changing is the car it's going into....the 84 XR-7 is probaby going away due to cancer...so there will be another Fox it will be going into.

Right now I'm at the point of needing an engineless Fox car at my place so I can sort out motor mounts.  The engine/trans mating is pretty well dialed in.

I have my Capri set up with the small version, and its been working fine as a DD. I went this way to avoid all the hassel of a rear mount in a hatch car.

Well....the MS ECU is flashed and the new .msq loaded.

I have just bypassed the heater core for the time being...it's 90*...so I don't think I'll need it just yet.

Aside from fixing a small coolant leak in the lower intake where I have the coolant sensor (evidently my buddy's AL TIG job is not 100%) and hooking up the PCV valve....the next picture may be of a running engine.....

Well I said that the next pic may be of a running engine...

Hard to tell but it is running.:hick:

I now have the problem of my turbo oil seal decided to take a dump...and it doing just that ...dumping oil out the exhaust.:yuck:

Aside from a couple minor MS issues (tach and fuel system prime) it seems ok.
I can't fix the others until I get the turbo sorted since I just pulled it off the car.

It runs though :D
