To do list: How's this for a custom job? photochop.

The flames and actual color may vary from the final product. Flame size and color will change as I ring up the total for the paint.
I plan on starting this after or during my winter break to give me the time to let the paint dry properly and give me working time.
I'm doing this because I'm already in the process of buying the touch up paints to fix the small rust on the driver side rear wheel well, the gashes in my hood from hitting a street sign this morning(see end for details).
I'm going to spray my bumper completely white. Spray all the black stripping white.
After that, I'm taping out the flames, and covering the car. Removing the grill for painting, it's getting a gold finish. I'm not sure about the color. Since my interior is blue, I may do a medium to dark blue with maybe some glitter in it.
I'm going to also buy new gold trim if I can, if not, just paint chrome trim.

Any suggestions so that it turns out nice? I'm using the paint you can get from pep boys in the can so It's not going to be 100% pro looking, don't really care either. I don't want to go with a total repaint because it's way too much for the worth of my car. I'm guessing I'm going to need at least 4 cans of primer and 4 cans of white gloss for the bumper. At least 2 cans for the touch ups I have to do. 4 Cans of primer and paint for parts below the black stripping.
I'm also going to need sand paper from 80-1000 for the bumper.
4-6 cans for the flames. 1 can for the gold.

Interior, I'm doing minor touch ups, junk yard here I come.

As for the sign...here it goes.

The roads were nice and wet today from the rain. I was in the left turn lane waiting for the light to change. I gently put my food on the gas and started to turn, next thing i know i hear my tires spinning and my car sliding. A car was coming toward me from the road I was turning onto, he was in the left turn lane. I turned the wheel to the right and started to slide toward the curb. I recovered the wheel and slowly pressed the brakes, car was still sliding. I ran up onto the curb and at that time I hit the brakes hard and hit a small sign. Nearly missing the telephone pole 1 foot behind that sign. Lets just say the sign sustained more damage than my car. The sign washiznit with my liscence plate holder and the holder put a small gash into my bumper, the sign when it landed on my hood it put a small gash in my hood that is just primer deep. This was scary, it really opened my eyes to the danger of rear wheel drive. Glad I didn't hit that car cause it would've been quite bad, don't need my insurance to go up when it's only a few days old.
