New member saying hello

Hey everybody,  found this wonderful site searching for a cougar to restore.  Had no idea there were this many people with such great taste.  I hope to get an 86 ls v-8 to restore.  My first car was an 86 ls and I can't wait to get one to hobby with. I have a post on the wanted section stop by and see if you could help me.  I know I will learn a lot from this site and just wanted to say hello.:grinno:

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Thanks for the welcome.  I live on the missouri side in Independence.  Still looking for a car, cougrrr302 says he has one in North central Kansas.  Hoping to pm him and get some pics soon.  Can't wait to get started
