87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #18 – April 26, 2006, 06:35:56 PM Hey if you do wind up selling that car, make me an offer before you put it up for sale on auto trader. I've looked around here and only seen 4-eyes style birds, you only wanted a Aerobird style correct? Quote Selected
87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #19 – April 26, 2006, 10:20:37 PM I'll take trade you my Turbo for that piece you have in your signature....I wouldn't be against a 4-eyed Bird if I looked halfway decent and had a strong running V8. I won't be selling the car unless I have found a replacement I can purchase right away. I DO NOT want to start bumming rides to work again. Not Fun. Not fun at all. Again, trade is still open. Surely someone out there with a V8 is interested.... Quote Selected
87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #20 – April 26, 2006, 10:24:04 PM Nope, I'm keeping my car. I will just eventually need myself a new DD and I figured that another Bird would be cool. I'll keep my eyes out for more birds, strangely enough, I've been seeing more and more of them. 87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #21 – April 26, 2006, 10:28:31 PM Bah! You're no good to me than! Seriously though, If the paint on my bumper wasn't so chipped, I would literally be going up to random people's doors if they had T-birds or Cougars in their driveways, and asking them if they wanted to trade. I know several people who have snagged cars that way.I know being here in Arizona is a turn off due to the fact most of you guys are East-Coasters or Midwesterners, but hey, a Turbo's a Turbo. Trade offer remains until I rid myself of this car and get a V8. C'mon guys, who wants a Gas Guzzling v8 when you can have an efficient 4cyl engine With Power!? Quote Selected

87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #25 – May 26, 2006, 11:58:21 PM Folks, This offer is still on the table. I am not going to sell the car unless I think there is no chance for me to trade it for a V8. I should mentioning the following:TFI Module has been replaced with New one (5-26).Air Conditioning Compressor has been Replaced (5-22).Has new front Windshield. Dospoogeented 1000 dollar transmission rebuild.BRAND NEW battery. (Dospoogeented)60% Tire Remaining.Changed Cap and Rotor within the past 3 months.CD player, but still have Stock Radio.Plugs changed in past 3 months. Fully Loaded with Exception of Leather.Again, despite having fixed all the major problems this car had when I purchased it, and having put more than 2000 dollars into it, I still would like to have a V8 Thunderbird or Cougar. While I would prefer an 87 or 88, good looking earlier models would suffice too. Once again, this offer is still good. I understand being where I am, most of you guys are hundreds of miles if not more away from me. But, this is my offer. An 87 Turbo Coupe for a plain jane v8 Thunderbird or Cougar. It might sound rediculous to some, but that's what I want. Quote Selected

87 Turbo Coupe, Will Trade for ANY V8!!! 6/19 New Pics! Reply #28 – June 19, 2006, 06:11:56 PM Well, I am still crazy as ever. I still would like to ditch this Turbo Coupe in favor of a V8 powered 83-88 T-bird or Cougar. Here are some pictures of the car I took today. I should mention I just (within last 3 days) installed a New Alternator and battery. Also just tinted the windows as well. Bumper Chipping can clearly be seen here.(New Alternator and Battery can Clearly be seen) Quote Selected
