what to you is the better system x-box or ps2?

Well I have used both (although the Xbox very little) I would have to go with the PS2 simply based on the controller. XB360 did a bit better with the controller, but if I ever got one I'd definally be getting an aftermarket one.

I loved my ps2, had one ever since it came out. Asked myself why would I pay for xbox live when ps2 is free, aside from the network adapter. Played Tiger online and midnight club online, had a blast. Then I got a xbox for free, had a few games and found myself playing the xbox more. Next thing I knew with one of the games I bought (Halo2) it had a 2month free trial on the xbox live. Figured what the hell Ill give it a shot. Now im a friggin xbox live addict and I might as well get rid of the ps2. I f**kg love gettin on now. Then I got the 360, !!! Call of duty2, Tiger 06, Perfect Dark, Ghost Recon, are my latest online games and they are off the friggin hook AND I can still play halo 2 with some guys!

Anyone on xbox live? My gamertag is also Snubz n Ttown, feel free to send me a friend invite. Just make sure you say cougarnut wants to be your friend or something.

xbox by far...
LAN party today at my school that I'm running. 5 Friends and I are running a LAN party today from 1-11pm. So far we had 60 ppl register... we will be having halo tournaments, counterstrike tourny, battlefield 2, and a C&C Generals Tourny. We have 80 computers networked for the lan and 10 xboxs ready to go. It should be a blast.

god hard core x-box gamers i love x-box.but ps2 has some games that i love that i wish they made for x-box like gran turismo and metal gear solid.

It all depends on what you want to play.

I bought all the need for speed games for the PS2 becasue of the control setup.

I bought the Xbox becasue there are games you can only get on the Xbox but that is the only reason I have one.

Got both and the PS2 just collects dust now. it just doesn't compare at all

Personally from a person that has owned 2 ps2's. the first one being my fault as i was trying to mod it and screwed it over. The second ps2 just collects dust the only thing i use it for is the occasional online socom or NFS UG 2 game. This goes back to another thread here, i believe that if i already paid for the game once i should not have to pay 50 bucks a year to play it online. If your looking for modability the xbox by far, (the only draw back is if microshiznit finds out that your box is modded they ban you from XBL and then you need to buy a new eprom to get back online). But if your looking for a established gaming system with a good library of games go with the ps2.

i have used both, but i dont have none of them. Ill prefer the PS2, but the last console i bought was the PS1 and only last 3 months (brother and i played at least 10 hours every day...) ...

I use to be a huge fan of the Ps2 and hardly ever played my xbox but over time I sold them both and quit playing altogether for about a year.

Found myself playing again and now I lean more towards the xbox.

PS2 YEAH YEAH. I love Halo. But nothing beats Resident Evil. Im getting a cube for all of the Resident Evil games.

yeah like 2 years ago my grandmother was like what system is better game cube or x-box. i was like x-box. i said to her why she was like o you aunt wants to know for her kid. i said ok.then christmas i got x-box from my grandmother.thank god i said x-box because if i did not i would have game cube.i mean it is a good system but i dont play any of the games.
