Reply #24 – March 25, 2006, 05:50:25 PM I had my radio setup like that before, I thought maybe it would sound better wired directly, but really the stock system has just as much power it seems as a head unit amp. It may be a little clearer using the HU amp but not much. Now I just have a big gaping hole where the EQ was, but hopefully I'll get my gauges in there soon enough. Oh well! Anything to shed some weight off the car these days! Now to toss out the door speakers, I already dumped the whole rear panel assembly behind the rear seat, PRC and amp gone and the sheetmetal they mounted to. The ABS is still hooked up but is just laying there. I'm gangsta like that. Quote Selected
