Is that a MINIVAN? Dude, you just made my Volvo wagon look cool ;) How much are they gonna charge to remove that stripe that must have fallen off whatever she hit and stuck to your car? :D

Joking apart, if you can afford it you should fix it yourself or pay out of pocket. If you make an insurance claim they'll rape you for the next five or six years, enough to pay for that bumper a dozen times over.

It was the one she wanted. Ya but that paint is the Burnt Orange Metallic that come on the WS6 T/A's. Not cheap. Thats whats going to kill me. I have to spend my new car money stash to fix her van. Shes fine the air bags didn't go off. Some body almost backed into her at the car was and she tried to miss them and swerved and hit a concret poll. If Chrysler didn't use plastic and used a poly material it wouldn't have shattered.

Here is the dealer photo.

ThunderChicken don't poke too much fun at it. Some screwy Canadian painted it that way. I got the Carfaz thing on it and it came from Nova Scotia. :p How the hell it got to Il is beyond me.

That is why you pay insurace. Turn it in. If you get ****ed, drop them and go to another company. Tell them you hit it in the driveway pulling in.

I can't complain too much about my rates for insurance. For 2 cars 2000 Caravan and a 1992 Tempo its $107 a month for full coverage on both cars. With $500/$500 coverage.

Someone backed into my girlfriends 02 Civic and shattered the bumper just like that.  The dude's insurance covered it (USAA kicks ass) - but guess what the bill was?  over $800.  New fender, new bumper cover, a few brackets, and paint.
