Wrong, bucko - the 140 MPH speedo is a very rare, very expensive aftermarket (Ford Motorsports) upgrade that has been out of production for about a decade. If you can find one expect to pay $300+ for it, and even more if it's new old stock with no miles, like the one in Birdman's car.

If you don't like the 90MPH speedo you can either install a Canadian speedo (goes up to 120 MPH/200 km/h), modify your current 90MPH speedo (instructions are in the "Greatest hits" section of this forum) or you can search for a 140 MPH unit on eBay and pay thru the nose.

Yours looks terrific!  Is it a daily-driver?  Did you do work yourself?

Yep, daily driver, but i didnt put the Griggs suspention on it.  It was put on by the previous owner, after the car had a pretty bad front end meeting with a guardrail.  LOL  The paint has so many swirls right now, so its going in to be completely detailed when taxes come back.  Here are some more pictures of it as it sits today.

well i do not want 90 mph cause its gonna be doing more then that would be nice to know exactly what its doing lol. and i know im not gonna be street racing the car i just want the larger speedo seems like it should have it because it will do more then 90 so, and far as the canadian 120 how much, and did the tc u bought have one. if it did, i don't care about shiping costs how much u want for it, cause i want one, either that which i think might be cheaper or ill jsut go all out evetually and get a 140. wishful thinking i need a dman job. my mom won't let me do oil changes and tune ups on peopels cars at my house stupid bitch. she thinks im stupid, ha rebuilt 2 engines, done 2 swaps, done like 75 tuneups, 100's oil changes. thinks i don't know shiznit, its in my blood, plus i bleed ford blue all  day.thast what i get from my dad worked as mechanic for ford 27 years, and always been in that shiznit, so i always helped him got into it and thast it, cars are like drinking its addicting.

The TC I bought had one, but it's already been sold on eBay. If you keep an eye on eBay you should be able to find a Canadian cluster

Looks really good man.  So what's the deal with this Griggs suspension?  Was it like a super rare TC specific one or something?  or just a nice overall setup?

Some pics of the TC...finally LOL *56K warning*

I think it was Thunderbird specific, but not 100 percent.  It still has the PRC struts in front, but it has a coilover sleeve and spring on it.  It also has different strut mounts, wich ARE thunderbird Specific.  Things up front look a little odd when compared to my 87 TC.  The swaybar is a bit beefier, the mounts for it look stock, but the entire bar looks like its higher up than stock.  The front motor mounts are a Ford Motorsport Mount, so I'm thinking at least the K-member might have been for a mustang.  The rear end, as you can see, is not stock.  I have never seen a swaybar that bolts to the INSIDE edge of the control arm, let alone seen the Step Down (at least thats what i call it) .  Its really firm in the rear, making me think that those are possibly V8 springs in the rear.  I'd like to get ahold of the owner that put this stuff on so i can fuiger out what was really done to it.
