I have a question for you gearheads... when driving, what makes that revving noise?

First thing that comes to mind is an electric fan kicking on and off, did the 93's have electric fans??

NeonArena are you looking for/planning on buying a cougar (or a thunderbird ;) ) at some point? Girls seem to love these cars but never want to own one for some reason

Unless it's an MN-12.. I see mostly women behind the wheels of MN-12s down here, and mostly older guys behind the wheels of the bigger Fox bodies.

Well, where I am in life doesnt really allow me much room to afford a car right now... (student loans, unemployment, ...etc etc) but as a side note, the sedans are sweet cars.

and in response to the question, when he accelerated... was when it was most noticable.

That was actually the first thing that came to mind.  But she said it was a '93 Cougar.

Did it sound like a low kind of growling sound or more of a high pitched whine?
