Well, I read through the entire post, and still have a stupid question. I've got an 87 tbird with 5.0 and a few years back heated the springs with a torch (I know, stupid) and am now looking for a quick budget way to replace the springs. I can get all 4 from a 95 mustang GT for a good price. Now any ideas on if these will work?
If they do will it lower it or anything? Let me know, if they will work I'll atleast use them to replace my py ones. Thanks

I have springs off a wrecked Steeda Mustang on my car.  Not sure of the spring rates but the are pretty  stiff.  Lowered the car a bunch.  I also have CHE adjustable rear control arms.

This pic is before the control arms were put in to take out the horrible SAG!  If my memory serves me right now it sets about 1/2'' higher in the back.

Fox or SN-95 Stang? I'm thinking SN-95 but I want to be sure.

I think the car was a '92.  I don't know much about Steedas and what the options were on springs.  I'm sure some were maybe more aggressive than others.

well, one and a half years later, im finaly adding to my own thread lol...

SUSPENSION TECHNIQUES  tbird lowering springs up front, and H&R springs in the back for a fox vert with adjustable lower arms, the hood isnt lined up because my fenders are lifted up about 1/2" with a spacer i made untill i come up with another fix. this along with some serious camber adjustment gives me enough suspension travel to drive the car. now the car has a T-5, long tubes, and all the emmissions, AC, and some other stuff including tarmat have been removed to lighten it up. as it sits now it was dropped about 2" or more but on the pluss side, i cant push my front end down anymore lol, and the back is next to the same.

I can't believe no one mentioned the Bullitt Suspension KIt.
Everything should bolt right up, right?

Everything but the front sway bar and the rear shocks will bolt up....

Will it work?  Dunno.  Perhaps.
