I think those Pure One filters are some of the best personally. I use those and WIX depending on wherever I end up to get filters.

It's Gumby's fault.

New heads Rousche 180cc
New cam TFS stage 1
New intake Edelbrock AirGap
New pistons Speed-pro and rings
New connecting rods forged I beam
Machined .030 over and alignment honed, block decked
New lifters
New 1.7 full roller rockers
New 600 CFM carb w/electronic choke
New Taylor Steel braided plug wires
New MSD dist and MSD 6A
Hedman headers, with 2 cutouts
8" K&N velocity Stack.
think thats it.

Air filter is sufficient its a 3x10 more than enough for a 600

Im really glad to see someone not going overboard on a carb. Im used to people saying "i got heads and cam, i need a 750"

I have more air filter than that on my TC, when i had a smaller one on, i lost some throttle response, thats why i brought up the air filter. The velocity stack makes it look smaller than it is.
It's Gumby's fault.

I use the Purolator Pure One filters.  The Motorcraft filter is the insides of a Purolator Pure One with a different casing.  This link has some great info:  http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilterstudy.html

dude that's hot:D  I always say that carb'd engines always look better than EFI. So much cleaner looking. How do you like those Iron World R180 heads. When I rebuild my 5.0 I'm thinking about going with those heads, a stock HO cam, and Cobra intake. Just wanted to know your opinion on them.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
