Last Runs Of The Season...

made it to test and tune today, unfortunatly NED only let us run 1/8th mile due to "cold and windy weather" kinda pissed about that but anyway i still had a great day heres the results...
i was running 17-18psi of boost, not sure if i have a leak or what but i couldnt get anymore out of it.

1st run
2 step @ 4600rpm
1.894 60ft
8.973 @ 76.27 1/8th ET/MPH

2nd run
2 step @ 5000rpm
1.787 60ft
8.824 @ 76.63 1/8th ET/MPH

3rd run
2 step @ 5200rpm
1.778 60ft <- Quickest so far
8.811 @ 76.76 1/8th ET/MPH <- Quickest ET & Mph yet

im very happy that today turned out this well, i had my doubts! not one issue with the car at all thankfully. all i can say is man these hoosiers hook, my left front is about 3" off the ground now, i cant believe it!

in case anyones wondering my previous bests were
1.839
9.155 @ 73.66
14.528 @ 90.50

i cant wait to see what it does on with over 20psi goin through it 8-). does anyone have an 1/8th mile et to 1/4 mile et converter?
the scales were closed today at the track but previous weight was 3300 even with me in it and the only difference now is the draglites which probably save 50lbs, i wish i put my manual seat tracks in i might have been able to crack the 77mph mark.

Thats some killer 60fts...

Unfortunatly with a 8.8 and only 76.7mph the 1/8 to 1/4 converters arn't going to real accurate on your car. Figure .2-.3 less and it should be close.

I am guessing an actual 1/4 mile time of 13.75 if you do everything perfect. I am gonna have to say prolly more like 13.88 or so

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
