just to let everyone know....when you remove your smog pump or theractor pump and pulley...you will need a 94 to 95 inch serpentine belt to replace the original....i just now finished the job...i have a 86 cougar with the v-6 and a/c,p/s. it took several trips to advance auto parts to finally get one that fits. and yes....the car runs great.

every time i change my setup it takes on adverage 4 trips with different belts... needless to say the place i go to trys to stay away from me when i come in with a belt:p

Aww belts ain't a problem, just wrap a string around the pulleys and  mark the spot where it overlaps. Then subtract 1" for the tentioner travel and wa-la there is your belt size....
