Why are people so pathetic?!

Well I'm coming out of work today, about 10:30 and I notice my front passenger hubcap is gone so I'm thinkin "shiznit I musta lost it on the way to work" then as I get closer I notice the rear is gone aswewll then I check the drivers side and somebody stole my set of f***in hubcaps! all four are gone and I'm left with f**k all. I spent 2 years and almost $250 tracking them down one by one, and had a set of 5 (one for the spare) now because some  :asshole:  decided he needed them more than I did I get the shaft! Why are people so  pathetic? I would really like to know what goes on in some peoples minds when they do this shiznit! Some fornicatekin indians probabally thought they would look nice on their rusted ass tempo or something. In all the years I have been in this city I've only ever seen one other set on a vehicle so hopefully I can find these fornicatetards and take my trusy baseball bat to their faces and teach them why its wrong to steal. ARGGHH!! I'm so pissed off right now first my carb got stolen, then my hood ornament, now my  hubcaps! If I find out who took them theres gonna be a killing  :macgun: NOBODY screws with my car.

Ok, before this erupts into a g contest... solution!  Don't spend $250 on hubcaps... spend $100 on a set of 15" aluminum wheels.

Aluminum wheels are great for handling, safety, and replacing skinny 14" tires.  Unless you're going for a full-out concours restoration, I think it's time to upgrade to 15's.  You might even be able to get tires and security lugs for under $300 altogether.

That happened to many dad a few years back with a rental car.  Someone came through the hotel parking lot and took the hubcaps off his and the lumina that was parked next to it.  They wanted a ton of money for replacement hubcaps too.  What type of hubcaps were they?  I know the wire ones have the locks on them.

Sorry to anybody I offended but we have bad problems with 'natives' around here (here being canada for the most part). For the summer I bought a bike to ride to and from work since its only 2km one way, well within a week I had nothing left of it. It was practically stripped outside the store, and guess who the security camera showed doing it. Aswell it was a 'native' who stole the carb off my car when I was in manitoba, needless to say I "took care" of all the windows in his LTD when I found out.

Racist, not quite I just call it as I see it. In my experience *most (not all!) are welfare bums and theives who would rather drink away the govt's money and steal whatever else they need rather than work for it. Before you come back calling me racist again this IS NOT the way I think, I've SEEN it every day since I can remember and thats just the way it is around here. You go downtown thursday morning after welfare wednesday and they are passed out in the streets or lined up outside the welfare office so they can go in and claim "someone stole their cheque" :rolleyes: and they get another one because if you say no they start calling you racist (like some people here) and start crying about discrimination against "their people" and you get fired for doing so (happened to someone I know)

And before any of you ask yes I have 'native' friends, and they have NEVER called me racist. They see the same things I do and they know how it is.

I bought the hubcaps because I was planning a full restoration on the car and a set of aluminum rims even stock 10 holes go for atleast $300 plus I would have to get new tires. Unfortunately now I'm stuck with a set of rusty black steel wheels till I get some extra $$ to buy another set of hubcaps.

Well, at least you didn't intend to be racist, but the comment kind of lends to it. There's just as high a chance that some white or black guy ripped you off. The natives here have the same rap, and in many cases because a lot of them are exactly like you mentioned. But that doesn't make them the only thieves in town. The reason that was so disturbing is I know a guy here in Edmonton who hit a native guy on the highway. He didn't even pull over and stop. Killed him dead and left him there like a deer.

I'm not saying you're anything like that at all. I'm just saying, attitudes like that have to start somewhere. I believe you, and I'm sure you didn't intend to, but automatically letting your mind target any race as the culprit due to poor reputations is the basis if racism.

Yes, I'm a hippie tree hugger. :p You'll notice I didn't fly off the handle at you. I know this is the common thought process of many people, and people are a product of their environment. All we can do is try and correct that. It makes you the bigger person.

That being said, it sucks that your hard work and fair money got ripped off, by whoever did it. :)

I sympatise with you Scott....
Im from Quebec and here to we have prob with native....

They dont even have police patoling their territory anymore for the last 8 month cuz they burn the whole thing. Police Dep, Cars, stolen weapons from cache and also burn the house of their Chief and his personal car. Our stupid gov wont do anything about it since they lost one man with the Mohawk crisis in 1990 when they bloqued a bridge and put Dynomite on it threatening us to blow it....

They dont pay electricity, they r all receiving walfare, selling Alcool/Tobacco and running illegal casinos.... and those Reserve are the stolen car parts paradise.....

Talked with my boss and the security cameras dont point to that part of the parking lot where the employees HAVE to park! and they cant do anything to help me replace them either.

Talked to my insurance and my deductible is $300 for theft so thats not gonna happen anytime soon.

Just got off the phone with my employer/bank and turns out that since I changed my bank account last week they closed my old one and were unable to transfer my direct deposit so no paycheck for me! which means landlord, gas company, phone company, and visa arent gonna get paid on time, which also means that I dont have gas to drive to work this weekend so I get to walk 30min each way to work in the fresh snow/slush. Atleast I have a bag of potatoes, a bottle of ketchup, and a few cheese slices to eat :shoothead
Anybody have some good recipes? I may have a little peanut butter left aswell :rollin:

I wish I could afford to have a drink  :(

I was able to get a $300 cash advance today and the rest will be deposited into my account when they get it straitened out, and it only took an hour to get that done.....

I have found someone who will sell me three hubcaps for $45us+shipping which I think is a good deal, but I think I am just about done with the tbird. Every time I get one step foreward something knocks me back two, its starting to get old. Think I may just focous on the zephyr for now and push the tbird off till I decide wether to sell it or part it out maybe pick up an old pick-up :dunno:
