Apparantly its not going to get fixed...

Im rather pissed off here.

My dad doesnt feel its his responsibility to paint the car, even though its his fault it needs to get painted. All he thinks he should do is get me a door, because thats all the insurance company would do.

He's going to have an insurance adjuster come out and look at it, but the problem is, my cars are titled in his name, so i was able to insure them for cheap, so he would be filing a claim against himself no matter what happens.

So im ****ed, my dad Jew's his way out of another one of his mistakes, i get the short end of the stick, and i get to drive around with a silver door on my car.

All he can say is "save up and have your buddy paint it"

I've got news for your Dad - the insurance company would paint it. Granted, they would only paint the door and quarter panel, but they would definitely paint it. They certainly wouldn't put a silver door on a dark grey car and call it finished...

The problem is, basically he would be filing a claim against himself, which is rather pointless.

Sounds like it's time to find another job and get yourself on your own....

Heh.. I could  near guarantee ya a job if you were down here. The guy that annoyed the  outta me at work (and set me up to be in all this pain I've been in all weekend) quit on Friday. We're short-handed and probably will be for awhile.

Take a baseball bat to that 89 bird of his!  Err or not.  But yea you need to move out man.  I don't like your dad and I don't know him.  Hmmm heres an idea.  Sideswipe his car with one of your friends big redneck mudder trucks!  You gota have a friend like that!

ill get the cops called on me

my dad is the biggest bitch ive ever known

my friend would be over late, and rather than my dad coming out of his room and saying "you guys are being loud, could you keep it quiet", he would sit in his room, then bitch at me the next day to keep quiet

well, one day, rather than telling us to be quiet, he came out of his room, went and called the cops, it exploded into a huge fury, and all my dad could say is "my name is on the lease", we dont even have a lease!

so my friend confronts my dad, and my dad says "i told Shawn to tell you that i didnt want you over late"...what kind of man is he if he relays a messege through his son? and he didnt even tell me anything like that, he told me to be quiet at night

my dad is seriously a bitch, and he's very self centered, he never wants to help me with my car, unless he's trying to get a favor out of me, ive probably spend more time working on his cars than my own

 If you have to get a siver door and want any help painting it, let me know.
Let the overspray hit his car and the house.

Well payback has always been a bitch.
If he has u fixing his car then u know how to mess it up a bit,  Take a sparkplug out pinch the gap closed so he has dead one and he will seek your help.
Charge him 20 30 bucks get it going and wait a few days do something else another 20 30 bucks.
Soon ue will have enuf money to paint the car :)

i got plenty of other things that he cant trace to me, and thatll have more money coming out of his pocket than 20-30 dollars

ever cut the EEC ground off of the negative battery terminal?  ;)

small stuff, finding a known bad TPS, advancing his timing too far, loosening valve stems, putting a rag in his air box...i got all the bases covered, ill have him chasing gremlins for a long time

and about the door, im gonna just get the door, and have it sit untill i can afford to paint the whole car, i can clean off the black rubber and  off of the car, so at least its one solid color

the plan is to save up, finish my cars, or at least get them to where theyre reliable and a good bit complete, register them in my name, on my own policy, and move the hell out
