5.0 intake studs?

does anybody use them?  seems to me that they would make putting the lower intake on easier without moving the gaskets....

my lower has a leak at the back seal, and I am trying to fix it once....

i was thinking about using just 4 of them, one at each corner
It's Gumby's fault.

I use assembly studs on everything I can that uses a gasket or sealer. They especially work great on valve covers and waterpumps also. I have no engine leaks at all which I attribute to the use of studs during assembly.

I just make mine using longer bolts that I cut the heads off of. Just make sure they're very loosely threaded in so you can get 'em back out after you start your bolts.

I have 4 ARP carb studs at the corners on my intake just for the fact that its easyer to line up the gaskets and intake.  But using all studs can be a bit of a prob if u take your intake on and off.
