Finally!

i finally got my lazy ass under the dash and ran the fuel flow wire for the tripminder to my EEC

it works great now

best part was going uphill, 4th gear, 40mph, and getting 20mpg  :D
It's Gumby's fault.

I have one in my digital dash but I think it lies. I changed my gears to a 3.73 so I had to put in a 21 tooth speedo gear. When I'm doing 45 (actually closer to 40 or 41 the speedo is about 4-5 mph off still) the instant economy says I'm getting 45mpg in 3rd gear :bs: .

Now if we could find a way to get that average all the time!  :D

I had one in my 89 Le Baron it hit 99 at about 90mph in neutral. Took a long time for it to start reading again.

with the 84's, i have no idea to be honest

i do think that they have a VSS for the computer, but then a cable for the speedo

i got the one that i have in my TC out of an 84 Elan, the harness was all kinds of differnet, and it had a digital cluster
It's Gumby's fault.
