EFI spyder fuel plumbing

Wondering if anyone here has put on one of the "spyder" type efi intakes...basically a carb intake converted to efi.  I have one on my 351w with the big 1/2" rails and am almost to the point where I have to figure out the plumbing.

I would like any input.  Right now I am thinking some kind of adapter to fit the steel fuel lines coming from the tank to go the -an fittings.  My fuel rails are -8 an, and i bought a regulator that has two -10 inlets and one -6 return.

Any pictures of your setup would help me tremendously.

Thanks,
Aaron

Hey Nick,
Thanks for the pictures, your setup is awesome.  I have a few questions:

That elbow looks homemade, I have a cad drawing that I made for the edelbrock pattern on the intake that i'm going to make a plate for and weld it to a 3.5" elbow (or 4") along with the throttle body plate.  I'm making these plates on a waterjet machine at work.  Did you use aluminum or steel?  What kind of elbow did you use? A street elbow or short radius?  Did you have to do anything to clear the hood?

Also, I saw some kind of steel band on the fuel lines, is that something that someone makes or is that custom as well?  Did you use NPT fittings?

Thanks,
Aaron

for the plates i used 3/8 steel..the elbow is a very short radius 3-1/2"exhaust pipe. at the time i found a guy that sold the pipe in a local town near me.. but the walker/dynomax part number should be 41222...a 4"pipe could be used but the inlet on the manifold is only 3-1/2" square.. as far as clearing the hood a had no problems but be carefull with the 351...a 351 is about a 1" taller then a 302.. i'm sure it will fit..just check your messurements carefully.. now for your question about the bands on my fuel lines :giggle: those are high pressure fuel injection clamps ;)and high pressure 3/8 fuel injection hose. and yes NPT..the fuel rails are 3/8 NPT..

oh and how i made the plates to weld to. i just used a  holley carb base gasket and a 75mm throttle body gasket and was copyed to a computer that runs a laser cuter and had the guy cut a 3-1/2" hole in the middle instead if a square hole on the manifold peice..
