priming problems

so i finaly went to prime my motor today, and got it all set up, and nothing came out of the oil filter holes,

Any body have any ideas ?? it's a 460 BB in my 81 ford

any oil any were else?  pressure?

Oil in the pan?
Pickup attached to the pump?
Spinning the pump the right direction?
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

master blaster got it right, turned the drill in the other direction, POOF oil every where, i hadn't put clamps on my oil relotcation lines, casue it was a temp. by-pass of the oil filter

guess i was to tired to figure that one out,  my buddy asked me " which way are you spinning it?? which way does the distrib normaly turn ? " i instatly knew that i had screwed up,

what's the next steps that i'm gonna screw up ?!
