Help !! Something draining battery

Ok hope you can help me... ;)

I have a drain on battery .. battery is charged checked it with ohm meter...and alt..and voltage reg.. Only work that was done on car is been to door. And yes I checked fuses under dash and under hood. But When I took door panel off the wires from mirror adjustment seems to be wired to  harness looks good but one wire looks to have been spliced into two, all other wires I took tape off and looked at. I mean for locks and windows control. >>Anyone have wire diagram for the door?

And yes I took earth cable off and tested with light thing..I have a complete circut. I can't think of what else to look for. I did fuseable link. Anyone please help!!! lol!! :P.S. forgot to mention it is a 1991 w/ 41 thousand original miles...

test light take ground cable off use test light to bridge them back together  start pulling fuse's till the light goes off then you will find your battery drain.

Hello, I am still in need of some ideas I went back to start testing all over again. I have a charge of 12. + When the car is not running. In addition, when the motor is running I have a reading of 14. + However, the idiot light is still coming on and saying I am not getting a charge and warning noise is going off. I checked the fuses with the test light and all fuses are testing ok.
This all started after a trip to Reno and valet at the nugget parked my car crashing it into a poll and smashing door. They fixed the damage however, this problem started once I received my car back to California. I checked all fuses to door and all tested good.
Does the 1991 have a 16 point plug spot to plug in to test with a OBD I or OBDII I am not sure for I can’t seem to located it or a wiring diagram in repair book I purchased. If it does have one where is it located I have looked in trunk and removed kicked panels and no luck in finding it. I know where it is in my other car but that will do me no good with this car.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1991 cougar door with electric windows, mirrors, and door locks? I sure could use one right about now. I have not idea where to go to look for the drain at this point.
Therefore, I have left it hooked up for time being to see if it drains again. :: crossing fingers and saying little prayer::: Oh almost forgot when I pull head light switch I have no dash board lights what so ever but when I turn car over and it is running I pull it and I have lights. I am drained and frazzled therefore; I cannot think what it could be. HELP!
Much Thanks Susan Ann

Ok  you said Holler...  ok whisper for you really don't want me to holler sleeper. I did that today when someone was around to help me...went back to ground zero.  and all fuses tested ok and just went to check charge on battery and is still at 12.6 and 14,+ when started. But lights on dash are strange and noticed the oil light flash this time. The battery icon is still flashing claiming drain but the reading is in middle as normal. Is there a sensor or something I am missing. I'm not blonde so has to be a brain fart, like a blonde moment..lol I have tried everything and read the idiot book and nothing is helping me. By chance do you know of a better repair manual. I cant even find wiring in this one for door. Or where I would plug in the OBDI unit to check codes. Susan ANn

So it has been 6 hours and still holding charge but IDIOT lights are wacky..
